Cinema
For one way to spend an evening of your holiday, or maybe a wet afternoon with the kids, you can catch all the latest blockbuster films in Falmouth’s Phoenix Cinema. For more specialist/art house films you can visit The Poly in Falmouth.
Music, Dance and Theatre
If you enjoy music and theatre, you won't be disappointed. Falmouth’s Princess Pavilion offers a varied programme of live performances. You’ll find international performances at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro. During the summer months an outdoor theatre performance by one of Cornwall’s outstanding small theatre companies is a memorable experience. In winter, you’ll find high quality theatre, dance and music performances in local village halls.
The university supplies a steady stream of students to keep the party alive, so for a more alternative night out, Falmouth has an eccentric mix of venues where bars spill with live music and the varied choice of nightclubs keeps night owls dancing till the early hours.
