Boat Hire Boat Trips Sailing Lessons for Mature Students

Hire a beautiful varnished sailing boat and explore the magic of the Fal. We also teach mature students to sail; or hire a sailing boat with a skipper for the day; go to the beach or a waterside pub for lunch, then catch some fish or go nature watching.

If you appreciate the beauty of natural wood, you will love Fal Wooden Boat Hire's sailing boats, made by craftsmen; sadly lacking in most of today's boats.

Sailing boats for hire to experienced sailors from £115 per day, £65 per half day or £415 per week. Lessons for mature students, it's never too late to learn to sail. We have many friends in their 50's and 60's who have learned to sail with the company.

Road Directions

From the Falmouth side, turn off the A39 at Playing Place to Feock, also signposted King Harry Ferry. Catch the King Harry Car Ferry. Coming off the ferry on the Roseland side, follow the B3289 and signs to St Mawes all the way to the T junction at St Just-in-Roseland. Turn right and immediately right again, signposted to St Just Church and Bar. Follow lane all the way down, past church, until you get to the creek. Park on the road; if full Barry will meet you and give you an alternative spot to park.
